1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this app ("the App"), provided by Aitzaz Nasir ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and, for users who download the App through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"). If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the terms that provide greater protection to the end user will apply.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country or region, to use the App.

By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by us.

4. Your Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of every PDF, image, and document you import, create, edit, or export using the App.

We claim no ownership rights over your content.

On-Device Processing

The App processes all documents entirely on your device.

We do not receive, upload, store, or access your files.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the documents you process using the App and for ensuring that you have the legal right to edit, modify, or distribute them.

You agree not to use the App to violate copyright laws, confidentiality obligations, or any applicable laws.

Backups

Because your files are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for creating backups.

Deleting the App, resetting your device, or losing your device may permanently remove your documents.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Create, edit, or distribute fraudulent or illegal documents.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the source code of the App except where permitted by law.
Circumvent licensing, subscription, watermark, or security features.
Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.
Use the App in any manner that could damage or impair its operation.

6. Free and Pro Versions

PDF Editor Pro may be available as both a free version and a paid Pro version.

The free version may include feature limitations, including export watermarks or restricted editing tools.

The Pro version unlocks additional functionality, including premium editing tools and watermark-free exports, as described within the App at the time of purchase.

Features may change over time as the App continues to improve.

7. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Billing

If you purchase a Pro subscription:

All payments are securely processed through the Apple App Store.
We never receive or store your payment information.
Auto-renewable subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal according to Apple's billing policies.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Subscription settings.
Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion ends when a paid subscription begins.
Purchases can be restored on another device using the App's Restore Purchases feature.
Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.

Any one-time or lifetime purchases are also processed through Apple.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, user interface, branding, logos, graphics, design, and all related intellectual property (excluding your own content), is owned by us or our licensors.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of our trademarks, branding, or intellectual property.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple's services for:

App Store distribution
In-App Purchases
Subscription management

Your use of Apple's services is governed by Apple's own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for services operated by third parties.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

The App will always operate without interruption.
The App will always be error-free.
Every PDF conversion, compression, annotation, or edit will preserve all formatting perfectly.
The App will meet every user's individual requirements.

You are responsible for reviewing all exported documents and maintaining backups of your files.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Loss of documents
Loss of profits
Loss of business
Data corruption
Device issues
Loss of goodwill

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless developer, its affiliates, employees, licensors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses resulting from:

Your use of the App;
Your documents;
Your violation of these Terms; or
Your violation of applicable laws.

13. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the App.

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Sections relating to ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification will continue to apply after termination.

14. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may modify, update, improve, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.

We may also update these Terms periodically.

When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Apple App Store Terms

If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store:

These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
The license granted is limited to Apple-branded devices that you own or control.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or technical support.
Apple has no warranty obligations regarding the App.
Apple is not responsible for handling claims relating to the App, including regulatory, product liability, or consumer protection claims.
Apple is not responsible for investigating third-party intellectual property claims.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them where applicable.
