Smart Printer MacOS - Terms and Conditions
Smart Printer for macOS · Effective October 28, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Smart Printer app (“Smart Printer”, “the app”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Licence
Smart Printer is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple’s EULA”). These terms add to Apple’s EULA; if the two conflict, Apple’s EULA governs. You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s Usage Rules.
2. Free features and Premium
Some tools are free. Others, and some content, require Premium, which you can buy as:
- Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription billed every month;
- Yearly — an auto-renewing subscription billed every year, which may start with a free trial when offered;
- Lifetime — a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium with no renewal.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country or region.
3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, you won’t be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts, and you’re charged automatically. Each Apple Account can use the trial once.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If you reinstall the app or use another Mac, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account to get Premium back.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You keep all rights to the documents, photos and other content you use with the app. You’re responsible for that content and for having the right to copy and print it. In particular, you agree not to use the app to:
- print or reproduce material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- create forged, counterfeit or fraudulent documents, signatures or identification;
- print contact details or personal information you aren’t allowed to use;
- break any law that applies to you.
5. Templates and designs
Photo frames, cards, calendars and coloring pages provided in the app are for your personal, non-commercial use, such as printing for yourself, your family, gifts and events. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish them as standalone files or products.
6. Passport and ID photos
Passport Photo helps you size and lay out photos to common specifications. Requirements differ by country and change over time, and acceptance is decided by the issuing authority. We don’t guarantee that any photo will be accepted; please check the current official requirements before you submit one.
7. Third-party services
Some features rely on services we don’t control, including Apple (App Store, printing, text recognition), RevenueCat (purchase verification), Google Drive, Dropbox, and the websites you open in the Web Page tool. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies, and we aren’t responsible for their availability or content.
8. Printing results
How a print looks depends on your printer, its settings, paper and ink. We aim for accurate previews, but we can’t guarantee that printed output will exactly match what you see on screen.
9. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or materials (including paper and ink), arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. If we make significant changes to the terms, we’ll update this page and its effective date; continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept the updated terms. Your licence ends automatically if you don’t comply with these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any active subscription in your App Store account settings.
